Assistance in Repatriation of Overseas Pakistanis
OPCS endeavors to be the front-line support for overseas Pakistanis and their families in case of repatriation, flood, or any natural calamity. OPCS has dedicated special help desks for overseas Pakistanis at various international airports to help them as soon as possible.
Help For War Affective
OPCS helps the war-affected Pakistanis abroad and supports them in their arrival back to their homeland. At the time of their arrival in Pakistan, camps are established by the OPCS in various cities of Pakistan to facilitate such war affectees. These affectees are paid cash to each earning member at the time of their arrival to meet in land travel expenses Pakistani expatriates are received and are provided all possible assistance by OPCS at Karachi and are transported to their respective destinations. At the time of their arrival in Pakistan OPF staff receives them at various airports and provide all possible assistance.
Repatriation of smuggled children
OPCS also plays an important role in the repatriation of those children who by any means are transported to Gulf countries for camel races (known as jockey children).Such children are repatriated and handed over to their parents. OPCS also provides assistance in the repatriation of children whose parents are caught in various countries while smuggling illegal drugs and are sentenced to death as per the country’s laws. These children are received by OPCS staff and are finally handed over to their relatives.
Assistance to political unrest affected OPs
Overseas Pakistanis are repatriated at various airports in Pakistan through special chartered and commercial flights on account of political unrest. These Pakistanis are received and assisted by OPCS Airport Facilitation Counter staff in coordination with the officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs at various airports in Pakistan OPCS provides inland transportation facilities to deserving overseas Pakistanis through buses/trains who do not have any source of payment for their onward journey to their hometowns. Consequently, overseas Pakistanis are provided bus/train tickets by officials deputed at OPCS Facilitation Counters at Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar airport for their onward inland travel to destinations in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. A significantly high budget is spent by OPCS on the provision of inland transportation facilities on a need basis.
Help for Flood affecters
OPCS always actively participates in the welfare of Pakistanis whenever any natural calamity hits our country. Relief goods consisting of eatables and bedding are distributed amongst the affected families. OPCS families of Ops who suffer from any flood-caused displacement.
Earthquake affecters
Whenever a catastrophic earthquake jolts the country and results in immense destruction and heavy loss of lives , OPCS stands with the affectees and helps them fight this time of grief and restlessness
